Account & Data Deletion

If you can sign in

The fastest option is inside Glimmerbud: open Settings → Delete my account & data. Glimmerbud will show what is being deleted and ask you to confirm before anything is permanently removed. If your account has an active recurring Stripe subscription, Glimmerbud will attempt to cancel it first so future renewals stop. If subscription cancellation fails, account deletion will stop and your account will remain in place so billing is not silently left active.

If you cannot access Glimmerbud

Email myglimmerbud@gmail.com and ask to delete your Glimmerbud account. Whenever possible, send the request from the same email address used for the account. If you email from a different address, we may need to verify account ownership before deleting data.

What is deleted

Deletion removes your Glimmerbud account and associated user-owned data, including tasks and routines, goals, garden and bouquet history, reflections, birthday/settings, Seeds, collectibles and placements, completion history, reminder preferences, push-notification subscriptions, password-reset records, purchase-entitlement records, and feedback tied to your account.

Billing after deletion

Active recurring Glimmerbud subscriptions are canceled before an in-app account deletion is completed. A lifetime purchase has no recurring billing to cancel. Deleting your Glimmerbud account does not necessarily erase transaction, invoice, or billing records held by Stripe or other payment providers when those records must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

What may be retained

Information may be retained only when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security, disputes, payment recordkeeping, or other legal obligations. Any such retention is limited to the purpose requiring it.
